“These are some paintings of Kresge and Pemaquid Point, around John’s Bay and even the backyard. Trying to catch that special Summer sunlight on the coast of Maine and New Hampshire. Those pale blue skies with a minimum of clouds and a stormy foggy day are tough to capture on the canvas. My neighbor, author Juan Enriquez, recently made the comment that Maine is tough to paint...he is right as rain but at the end of the day isn’t that the beauty of the challenge.”
